IfeanyiUbah ban Team Manager

IfeanyiUbah have banned their Team Manager Jonathan Igwe for four matches following his role in the abandonment of the team’s Premier League opening game against Kano Pillars in Kano on Saturday.
Pillars were leading 1-0 before their visitors refused to continue the game.
In a statement on Sunday, the Nnewi club Chairman Chukwuma Ubah condemned Igwe’s behaviour and apologised to the President of the Nigeria Football Federation Amaju Pinnick; the Chairman of the League Management Company Shehu Dikko; Kano State Governor Abdullahi Ganduje; and fans for the development.
The management of the outfit said it decided to ban Igwe after its investigation revealed that he “took laws into his hands by dishing out orders to the team without due recourse to the statutes and ethics of the game”.
