
Nigeria Professional Football League side, MFM FC have declared that they are hoping to cash in a transfer fee of over N300m on their Top striker Stephen Odey, According to MFM Director of Football, Emmanuel Adeyemi .
Adeyemi disclosed this on a Lagos base radio program, Top Radio 90.9, Sports Cafe on Wednesday that the goal poacher is worth between $700,000 – $1m.
Contrary to claims that the striker is on loan at the Lagos outfit, the Olukoya boss confirmed that the players at the club have valid contracts with the club.
“To the glory of God, MFM is the richest club in Nigeria and our players are well remunerated. they get their bonuses, allowances and everything due them as at when due. None of our players will cry out of being owed any form of allowance,” Adeyemi told Top Radio 90.9FM
“The bottom line here is that Stephen Odey is a player of MFM FC. Any body can go about to say whatever he/she likes, at MFM we are professionals and we act as one.He has a contract with MFM and he’s still our player.”
“If Odey leaves Nigeria today for any other club, the transfer fee will go to MFM. He is worth between $700,000- $1m.” Adeyemi stated.
The report came after the player had a successful trail for FC Midtjlland in Denmark. While Other clubs across Europe are also said to be interested in the 19 year old.
